With the Starlight Technology, the available light is amplified and that allows the camera to require less light in order to continue to operate as a color camera and that causes the IR to kick in later using less light. This 3MP PTZ also uses Smart IR that adjusts the brightness and angle of the IR LEDs based on the zoom ratio and distance to the subject to deliver the most efficient use of the IR for your situation. This helps to allow you to see and record what’s going on in low-light and total darkness up to 164 feet! You also have a 16x optical zoom that takes you from a 5.5-88mm zoom so you can see more detail than you thought possible and all up to 3MP in realtime 30fps.
